Recently, in October 2017, Touch Fund Midwest was contacted by someone requesting assistance for a recipient and their family going through a lot due to the husband's health issues. The husband was not able to work any longer due to some health issues. As a result of this anonymous person's request, Touch Fund Midwest was able to help take care of the family's rent for the month.
In May 2017, Touch Fund Midwest was able to provide encouragement to a family who had unexpectedly lost a loved one. Touch Fund Midwest provided this family with a gift basket full of items and various gift cards designed to be a "sunshine" basket meant to encourage them and attempt to spread hope to them during their difficult time.
